Synopsis

Puaada is a 2021 Indian Punjabi-language based, romantic drama film starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles. The film is directed by Rupinder Chahal. The film is produced by Zee Studios, A&A Pictures and Brat Films Production. It will be released worldwide in theatres on 12 August 2021.

Story

Puaada revolves around the love story of a farmer of Punjab, Jaggi (Ammy Virk), who supplies milk to all the families of his hometown. One of his customers is the family of an attractive young girl, Raunak (Sonam Bajwa). Jaggi and Raunak are in a relationship and decide to reveal it to their families to take a step ahead in their relationship but things don’t turn out well. Raunak’s father, who is an officer at the Indian Air Force, disapproves of the relationship. He wants a son-in-law who is educated and in the Indian armed forces, just like him. At Jaggi’s house, his mother disapproves of the relationship as she wants a simple village girl to be Jaggi’s bride. Despite all this, the families eventually agree to meet personally and talk about the marriage but the real Movies’ starts when Jaggi suddenly pulls away. This not only starts a ‘Movie’ among Jaggi and Raunak but also the two families. This leads to hilarious comical situations in the lives of the couple, who must overcome all this to save their relationship.
