Synopsis

Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank  is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik. Story

When it comes to the story, fans of Stree already know that in the first part, the entity called Stree kidnapped men. This time, however, a new terrifying demon named Sarkata enters the scene. Sarkata terrorizes women and abducts them. The story begins in the same Chanderi village, where people were once terrified of Stree, but now the walls say, “Oh Stree, protect us.” Everything seems fine in the village until one day, Bittu’s (Aparshakti Khurana) girlfriend Chitti is suddenly taken away by Sarkata, causing chaos. Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) is still waiting for that mysterious girl (Shraddha Kapoor), but Rudra receives a letter revealing torn pages of Chanderi Purana, leading to the conclusion that Sarkata can be traced with the help of Jana (Abhishek Banerjee), who lives in Delhi.

In the meantime, the mysterious girl Shraddha has also returned to Chanderi. However, when Sarkata kidnaps Rudra’s dancer girlfriend Shama (Tamannaah Bhatia) and subjugates several men in the village, including Bittu, imposing restrictions on women’s freedom, Rudra, Shraddha, Vicky, and Jana prepare to confront Sarkata. Can this group bring about Sarkata’s destruction? Will they be able to rescue the girls abducted from the village? Will Vicky find his love this time?
