Backstage Boys is a story of three young and excited Punjabi boys who are struggling to find their destined success. The show is set in Chandigarh where we come across three strugglers Anurag, Dj & Baniya, fighting to get their success. Anurag who wants to be a director gets a little hope when Samaira shares a Music director’s number with him. On the other hand Baniya tries his luck at singing but, after getting negative responses from different music directors and PR offices he changes his field to acting where he gets selected for a supporting role. Dj who wants to be a singer, tries to get into the industry through his skills and writings but ends up with recording his own song and uploading it on YouTube. When Anurag finds that he can’t become a director with his creative thoughts and skills, he chooses to head back to his village. While he was about to leave the flat owner stops him, giving him the news that their video has gone viral over the internet and they have got an overwhelming response from the public. Thus they all finally reach their destination. The 6 Episodes of ‘Backstage Boys’ is a light hearted, fun to watch.
