Sidhu Moose Wala’s parents expecting a baby in March
The parents of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala are anticipating the arrival of their second child. Moosewala’s uncle, Chamkaur Singh, revealed that Moosewala’s mother, Charan Kaur, and father, Balkaur Singh, have opted for the In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) technique.
Media reports suggest that Charan Kaur is expected to give birth to the baby in March. She has been staying home for the past three to four months due to her pregnancy. Charan Kaur, according to an affidavit filed in 2022 during her participation in the elections from Mansa district, is currently 58 years old, while Balkaur Singh is 60.
Under the care of a medical team, Charan Kaur is reportedly responding positively to the pregnancy.
It is worth noting that Sidhu Moosewala, the late singer, was the couple’s only son. He had contested the 2022 elections from Mansa on a Congress ticket but was unfortunately shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village.
The incident occurred when Moosewala, accompanied by his cousin Gurpreet Singh and neighbor Gurwinder Singh, was driving his SUV to his aunt’s house in Barnala. At around 5:30 pm in Jawaharke, two cars intercepted and blocked his SUV, leading to an exchange of gunfire. Approximately 30 rounds were fired, injuring two other men. Despite returning fire with his own gun, Moosewala succumbed to the attack.
Notably, a day before the incident, the police reduced or entirely removed the security detail for Moosewala and 423 others in preparation for the anniversary of Operation Blue Star. As a result, Moosewala was left with only two commandos instead of the previous four.
