Simerjit Singh (born 1973 in Punjab) is an Indian film director and writer. He was born and brought up in Moga district of Punjab. After completing his graduation Simerjit moved to Mumbai in 1997 to pursue his passion for films. He started his career as an assistant director to Director Anees Bazmee for his second directorial venture, Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha (1998), After that he joined to Anil Devgan for Raju Chacha (2000) & Blackmail (2005), He also assisted to Rohit Shetty for his directorial debut film, Zameen (2003). While doing Blackmail he gets a chance to work as a chief assistant director for his first Punjabi film Waris Shah: Ishq Daa Waaris (2006) Directed by Manoj Punj. This film was his last film as an assistant. After that, he is becoming the greatest director and directed many super hit films.

Smeep Kang is a Punjabi actor, film producer, and director. He graduated from Punjab University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Smeep Kang rose to popularity as a director in 2012 with the comedy film Carry On Jatta, which became a Blockbuster, and also one of the highest-grossing Punjabi feature films of that year. He again teamed up with most of the cast of Carry On Jatta in 2013, with comedy film Lucky Di Unlucky Story. This film also became a box office success. Following this, he directed Bhaji in Problem, which managed to do good business at the box office but wasn’t as successful as his last two films.
