Pollywood and controversies are two sides of the same coin. Last year, Jayy Randhawa announced that he would appear in a film titled “Shooter” that is based on the life of gangster Sukha Kahlon. However, on February 20, 2020, Punjab and Haryana High Court issued an order to suspend the release of this film with immediate effect.

Now, Kewal Singh, the producer of this film, knocks on the door of HC again to challenge this cancellation. He already got a green flag from the Central Board of Film Certification to release this film. Therefore, now he wants the court to lift the suspension as well.

According to the reports, Shooter was banned after receiving an order from the Chief Minister of Punjab himself. Since the film is based on the life of Sukha Kahlon, it would promote crime and violence. As a result, the officials banned this film as they don’t want people to see the life of a criminal on the big screens. However, some fans want to see this film and now they are eagerly waiting for the court’s next decision.
