Ammy Virk was born on 11-05-1992 in Nabha in the state of Punjab, India. He is an Indian Singer & Film Actor who best-known for his work in Punjabi Cinema.

Ammy Virk started his singing career with a single track which went on to become very popular. Later on, he did other songs including “Yaar Amli” and “Jatt Da Sahara” which popularized him in the Punjabi music industry globally. Amninderpal Singh Virk, popularly known as Ammy Virk, is a film actor, stage performer, and a Punjabi singer. He attended Punjabi University, Patiala for his education. Ammy had completed a degree in Master of Science in Biotechnology. He wanted to be a doctor initially. Virk began his singing career with a single track which became very popular, giving him the identity of his own.

His first ‘Jattizm’ received the best album award in 2013 PTC music awards. He had worked with famous actor and singer Amrinder Gill in superhit Punjabi movie ‘Angrej’. It was his first film as an actor as well. He had sung many songs for movies like Ardaas, Bambukat, Nikka Zaildar, Jugni Hath Kise Na Auni. Nikka Zaildar 2 etc and the songs include Tappe, Kawa Wali Panchait, Rakhi Soneya Ve, Mini Cooper, Record Bolde, Gaani etc. Ammy Virk is now coming on Sufna movie. His track ‘Zindabad Yarrian’ received a huge response from the audience.

Prior to becoming an actor, he worked as a Bhangra artist and performed in Indian festivals in the UK and Germany. In addition to films, he has also worked in various Punjabi serials. He is also making a debut in Bollywood with film 83 directed by Kabir Khan. Virk will play the role of fast bowler Balwinder Sandhu. Later, he also signed another Bollywood film Bhuj co-starring Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati, Parineeti Chopra and Ajay Devgn. He will play the role of a fighter pilot.
