Biography

Simi Chahal is an Punjabi film actress, known for Golak Bugni Bank Te Batua (2018), Bhajjo Veero Ve (2018) and Bambukat (2016).

Career

Initially, she appeared on several Punjabi music videos. She gained immense recognition after her appearance on GurpreetChattha’s music video of ‘Guzaara’. Simi was discovered by some Punjabi film talent scouts. Chahal first stepped into the entertainment industry in 2014 where she appeared in some Punjabi music videos. Simi Chahal won a Filmfare Award (Punjabi) for Best Debut Actress in 2017 for her role in Bambukat, and, in 2018, won the Best Actress Critics Award at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards. Simi appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show with Priyanka Chopra and Ranjit Bawa to promote Sarvann (Episode 71/ 1 January 2017).
