MP Rajya Sabha Sanjeev Arora today flagged off a road vacuum sweeper machine at Bharat Nagar Chowk, reaffirming his commitment to keeping Ludhiana clean and garbage-free. A large number of furniture market shopkeepers were present at the event and lauded Arora for his efforts toward the city’s overall development.

Speaking on the occasion, Arora stated that the machine would operate in double shifts to ensure thorough cleanliness in the area. “Cleanliness is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle, and I am determined to make Ludhiana garbage-free,” he emphasized.

Arora, who has been fielded by the AAP for the upcoming Ludhiana by-election, sought support and votes from the people. Addressing concerns about the maintenance of Bharat Nagar Chowk, he informed that a renowned industrial group had already adopted the area, and that development work was well underway.

Listing various completed and ongoing projects, Arora remarked, “This is just a trailer; the full picture is yet to unfold.” Later, he visited Middha Chowk to inspect the city’s cleanliness drive and the ongoing painting work on the central verge.

Area Municipal Councillor Kapil Kumar Sonu accompanied him. At the gathering, Arora assured residents that faulty power transformers in Jawahar Nagar were being replaced with new ones, and new streetlights were being installed alongside other development initiatives to enhance the city’s infrastructure.
