During the 46th Prof Mohan Singh Memorial International Punjabi Cultural Fair being organized by the Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation on October 20 and 21, there will be an open arena of Punjabi cultural singing. Apart from this, the awards to be given during the fair have been announced.

On this occasion, the guardian of the foundation, Pargat Singh Grewal, Prithipal Singh SP, Chairman Gurnam Singh Dhaliwal and President Rajiv Kumar Lovely announced that during this fair, the Jyoti Noora sisters who hold a special place in Punjabi Sufi singing, the famous duet singer Deep Dhillon and Jasmin, expatriate Punjabi poet Harjinder Kang, Olympian Harwant Kaur from the field of sports, expatriate Punjabi Nirmal Singh from America, Raj Jhaj from Canada and music director Tejwant Kittu will be felicitated with various awards. These awards will be given on October 21 at AVM Public School, Isa Nagri Puli near Civil Hospital Ludhiana.

Dhaliwal and Lovely said that this fair will be dedicated to Sardar Jagdev Singh Jassowal. On the first day, October 20, a literary event will be held at Punjabi Bhavan with the support of Punjabi Sahitya Akademi. In which Prof. Similarly, October 21 will be a cultural program and honor ceremony, which will be inaugurated in the morning by Cabinet Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian.

On this day, Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, Cabinet Minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal, Gurmeet Singh Khudian, MP Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, Vice Chancellor Dr. Satbir Singh Gosal, District Deputy Commissioner Jatinder Jorwal and Police Commissioner Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chahal will be the chief guests and dignitaries.

Awards will be given to personalities. He said that before the award ceremony Navjot Singh Jarg and his colleagues will perform Punjabi traditional singing and Dr. Folk dances will be presented by the students of Dr. AVM Public Senior Secondary School.
